派生型は定義されたデータ型を元に定義された新たなデータ型。派生の方法にはrestrictionとextensionの2種類がある。
restrictionは存在するデータを制限する方向。データの上限などの制限をするパターンと、複合型の場合は既存データ型の要素のうち使う要素だけを表示させるようにするもの。
extensionは拡張する方。複合型で定義済みの要素に加えて、属性や要素を定義する。だから、定義済みデータ型の要素をextensionの場合に定義する必要はない。
